Where is Jay Digital Pro based, and do you work with clients outside Kolkata?

We are based in Santoshpur, Kolkata, West Bengal. While we have a strong local presence and specialise in helping Kolkata businesses grow online, we work with clients across India and internationally. All our services are delivered remotely, so location is never a barrier.

How do I get started? What does the process look like?

Getting started is simple. Reach out via our contact form, email, or WhatsApp for a free consultation. We’ll learn about your business and goals, then provide a clear proposal and quote. Once approved, we move into design and development with regular updates. After your review and approval, we launch — and provide ongoing support.

Will I own my website after it's built?

Absolutely. You have full ownership of your website, all its content, and the domain. We hand over all credentials and assets upon project completion. We don’t lock you into proprietary systems – your website is yours.

Timelines vary by project complexity. A standard business website typically takes 2–4 weeks. A more complex site with custom features, eCommerce functionality, or a large number of pages may take 4–8 weeks. We’ll give you a clear timeline in your project proposal, and we keep you updated throughout.

Will my website be mobile-friendly and responsive?

Yes, every website we build is fully responsive and mobile-first. We design and test across all screen sizes — smartphones, tablets, and desktops — to ensure a seamless experience for every visitor, regardless of device.

Can I update my website content myself after launch?

Do you redesign existing websites, or only build new ones?

What platform will my website be built on?

We recommend the best platform for your specific needs. Most business websites are built on WordPress for its flexibility and ease of use. eCommerce stores are typically built on Shopify or WooCommerce. For specific requirements, we may recommend a custom-built solution. We’ll advise you during the consultation.

How much does a website cost?

A basic business website typically starts from ₹15,000–₹25,000. eCommerce stores and custom web applications are priced higher based on requirements. We provide a detailed, transparent quote after your free consultation — no hidden fees.

Do you offer payment in instalments?

Yes. We typically structure payments in milestones — an initial deposit to begin work, a payment at the design approval stage, and the final balance on project completion. This keeps things fair and transparent for both parties.

Are there any ongoing costs after my website is launched?

There are standard ongoing costs that apply to any website: domain renewal (typically ₹800–₹1,500/year) and web hosting (varies by provider and plan). If you opt for a maintenance package with us, that is an additional monthly or annual fee. We’ll outline all expected costs clearly before you commit.

Do you offer refunds if I'm not happy with the work?

We work collaboratively with you throughout the project with regular check-ins and revision rounds to ensure you’re happy at every stage. Because of the custom nature of our work, we don’t offer refunds on completed milestones — but we do offer revision rounds to make sure the final result meets your expectations.

How long does SEO take to show results?

SEO is a long-term investment. Most clients begin to see meaningful improvements in rankings and organic traffic within 3–6 months, with stronger results building over 6–12 months. Can you guarantee first-page Google rankings?

No ethical SEO agency can guarantee specific rankings — Google’s algorithm is complex and constantly evolving. What does your website maintenance service include?

Our maintenance packages cover regular CMS and plugin updates, security monitoring and malware scanning, daily or weekly backups, uptime monitoring, minor content updates, and monthly performance reports. We keep your website secure, fast, and up to date so you can focus on running your business.

What happens if my website goes down or gets hacked?

If you’re on a maintenance plan, we monitor your site 24/7 and respond to downtime or security incidents promptly. We restore from backups and resolve issues as quickly as possible. If you’re not on a maintenance plan, we still offer emergency support — contact us via WhatsApp for the fastest response.

Do I need a maintenance plan, or can I manage the website myself?

You can manage your website yourself if you’re comfortable with the CMS. However, we recommend a maintenance plan for peace of mind — especially for security updates, which are critical. Outdated plugins and CMS versions are the most common cause of website hacks. Our plans start at an affordable monthly rate.
